About Sarah

Growing up in the south, the concept of southern hospitality was ingrained in me from a young age and that is what my business model is all about. Each client is shown the utmost southern hospitality from day one and each couple I work with is given the time and love they deserve each step of the way.

I adore my husband Dana, who is my biggest supporter and my best friend. I'm a proud #BoyMom to our first little one, Everett and we are enjoying learning how to be Mom and Dad! We love all of our fur-babies small and large - two dogs: Captain & Ally, and our horse Woodrow.

Sweet tea will always be my drink of choice. There is nothing better than the smell of gardenias in the summer. I make lists to be 'spontaneous'. Escaping to the Blue Ridge, or spending the day at the barn are my ideal ways to unwind.

I can't wait to meet you and help make your wedding day the happiest day of your life!

I'm Sarah

I've always been a sucker for animals and our rescue pups are our world. A house just isn't a home without a dog.

Good thing I'm a wedding planner - I get the best of both every time! Fresh flowers and delicious cake - yes, please!

My family and friends are my world. Making new memories together are my favorite.

As a professional wedding planner, romantic moments on my client's wedding day are my most favorite.

What I love most:

Growing up I was always a planner. One of my earliest 'planning' memories was getting ready for a Thanksgiving dinner with my family and I made custom escort cards with magic markers and stickers and picked greenery from my gramma's bushes for each place setting. There was always something so special about gathering with a group of family and friends and that is something I still hold dear to this day.

Born and raised in North Carolina, I received an undergraduate degree in Marketing from UNCW and a Masters degree from Virginia Tech in Hospitality and Tourism Management. After we got married, my husband and I lived in Wilmington, NC for three years and then  Washington, DC for three years. When he got out of the USMC, we found our way back to North Carolina and settled in Charlotte.

After years in the corporate and non-profit world, I was able to gain valuable business acumen paired with management experience which allowed me to follow my entrepreneurial dreams and start my own company.

As a planner and designer, my mission is to create a celebration that becomes a part of your family legacy. I desire to create a milestone so memorable that you’ll look back years later and think to yourself that your wedding was the best day of your lives.

I strive to design events that are custom to my clients tastes and personalities. No two events are the same and I pride myself in getting creative so each event is unique and beautiful. My ideal clients are couples that find joy in the design and the details and ones that focus on incredible moments, guest experience and having the most magical of days!

I would describe my personal style as timeless and romantic with a touch of southern flare. My taste is influenced by the places all over the world that I've traveled, but also by the world around me. There are so many beautiful colors, interesting textures and natural beauty that it's easy to be inspired just by looking out the window.

What makes us special? Each and every one of you! Each timeless, unforgettable event is inspired by everything you love and it is truly an honor to be able to create these milestone moments with you. I strive to make the entire planning process enjoyable, from design plans to thank you notes, and each step is thoughtfully curated and planned to allow you to fully enjoy your day.

With over a decade of experience in the wedding and event industry (as of 2020), and successfully executing many weddings and celebrations over the years, my joy and enthusiasm continues to grow as I meet each wonderful client and help celebrate your love story. I'm humbled every day that I get to do what I love and I'm so thankful to be surrounded by such a supportive and loving community.
